Applying
for your Visa

Instructions

1. Navigate to and create an account at https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/
   
   Note: The page has a weird glitching/flashing feature it does while loading any page. It’s normal, just give it 5 seconds.
   

2. You will need a passport photo (.jpeg) to apply for the visa. I took my photo as a selfie in the bathroom with good lighting and a white background.
   

3. The website has a built in portal to edit the photo for you. Use a well lit area with the light directly in front of you. They will email it to you for you to upload into the main visa site.
   

4. Enter your travel information. I estimated and did not need my official itinerary or flights purchased.
   

5. There are additional details you can enter like, fill what whatever you’d like.
   

6. It costs $80 when submitting. They indicate it can take up to 10 business days but it took me less than 24 hours.
   

7. You will need two printed copies for entry into Brazil, upon arrival.
